Terms of Visit.
1. Introduction and agreement
Welcome to UFOREA. Our goal is for every child to leave with a happy memory and every parent to leave relaxed. These Terms of Visit set out the house rules and conditions of entry that help us deliver that experience safely.
UFOREA Penang is operated by Marvelous Wonderland Sdn. Bhd. (202401002683) ("UFOREA", "we", "us", "our") at 3-10, 3-11 & 3-12, Island 88, 118 Jalan Tanjong Tokong, 10470 Penang, Malaysia.
By entering UFOREA, purchasing a ticket, or accompanying a child into our premises, you ("the visitor") agree to these Terms of Visit. The terms apply equally to ticket holders, paying adults, complimentary adults, contractors, and any guests of a birthday or private event. Please read them before you enter.
These terms operate alongside our Privacy Policy, Sales Policy, and Health & Safety Policy.
2. Admission and supervision
2.1 Who needs a ticket
Entry into the play area requires a valid ticket or pass. Pricing tiers (child, adult, weekday, weekend & public holiday) are published on uforea.net and at the entrance counter.
- Children aged above 12 months up to 15 years require a valid Child Ticket; guests aged 16 and above require an Adult Ticket.
- Babies under 12 months enter free of charge, with valid ID or supporting document (e.g. MyKid or birth certificate).
- Adults require a valid adult ticket. Each ticketed child must be accompanied by at least one ticketed adult.
- Seniors aged 60 and above enter free of charge with valid ID.
2.2 Age policy and supervision
UFOREA is not a drop-off facility. Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied at all times by a parent, guardian, or responsible adult who is at least 18 years old. The accompanying adult is responsible for supervising the child throughout the visit, including in the toilets and changing areas.
The maximum recommended supervision ratio is one adult to four children under 12. We reserve the right to refuse entry where we judge that supervision is insufficient.
2.3 Footwear and dress
For hygiene and safety, socks must be worn at all times in the play zones — both by children and by accompanying adults. Anti-slip socks are recommended and are available for purchase at the counter. Outdoor shoes must be left in the designated shoe racks at the entrance.
Loose jewellery, sharp accessories, scarves with long ends, and other items that may cause entanglement should be removed before entering the play structures.
2.4 Food and drink
Outside food and drink may not be brought into the play area, except for baby formula, baby food, medically required items, and water in a sealed bottle. Amuse Café (beside the entrance) operates on site, serving drinks, desserts and light snacks — no full main meals. For birthday party guests, food arrangements by UFOREA are agreed in advance with the party host. No outside food is allowed in either the private party rooms or Amuse Café.
2.5 Health and well-being
Please do not bring a visibly unwell child to UFOREA. We may decline entry where a child appears to have a fever, contagious rash, vomiting, diarrhoea, or other infectious symptoms, and we may ask a family to leave where such symptoms appear during the visit. Where a child has head lice (kutu), we will decline the Makeover Castle dress-up experience and may also ask the family to leave. See our Health & Safety Policy for details.
3. Wristbands and re-entry
On entry, each visitor receives a wristband colour-coded to the day's ticket type. The wristband must be worn throughout the visit. It serves three purposes: it identifies a valid ticket, it links a child to their accompanying adult for safety purposes, and it permits same-day re-entry.
3.1 Same-day re-entry
A valid wristband permits the holder to leave and re-enter UFOREA an unlimited number of times during the same operating day (closing 22:00 Penang time, last entry 21:00). Re-entry is at the discretion of the staff at the door; the wristband must be intact and clearly readable.
Re-entry is not permitted with a damaged, removed, or transferred wristband. Wristbands are non-transferable. If you remove a wristband intentionally, a new ticket may need to be purchased to re-enter.
3.2 Lost wristbands
If a child accidentally loses their wristband during play, please report this to the front desk and we will issue a replacement linked to the original ticket. We may ask the accompanying adult to identify the child before issuing the replacement.
4. Behaviour expectations

5. Photography and consent
5.1 Personal photography
You are welcome to take photographs and videos of your own children inside UFOREA. We particularly encourage photos in Makeover Castle and the Galaxy Exploration Zone, both of which were designed with family photography in mind.
5.2 Photographing other children
Please do not photograph or video other people's children without the clear permission of their accompanying adult. If your camera incidentally captures other children (for example a wide shot of a slide), please blur or crop them out before sharing the image publicly.
5.3 Commercial and content-creator photography
Visitors planning commercial photography, content creation for monetised channels, influencer reels, or shoots involving props and crew must obtain prior written approval from UFOREA. Please email hello@uforea.net at least 48 hours in advance.
5.4 UFOREA's photography
UFOREA regularly photographs and films the playground for marketing, social media and news purposes, and your child may be captured incidentally during day-to-day filming. We also take photos and videos during events and play sessions — by joining an event or play session, you consent to UFOREA capturing and using those images. If you do not wish your child to be captured or posted on social media, please let a staff member know at check-in and we will note your preference. If an image is published before you have a chance to object, please contact us under our Privacy Policy and we will remove it.
6. Liability and insurance
6.1 Use at your own risk
UFOREA's play structures are designed and maintained to a high safety standard. However, all active play carries inherent risk. By entering, you acknowledge that participation in play activities is voluntary and at your own and your child's risk.
6.2 Our responsibility
UFOREA accepts responsibility for personal injury or damage caused by our own negligence, breach of statutory duty, or wilful misconduct. Nothing in these terms is intended to exclude or limit liability where such exclusion or limitation is not permitted by Malaysian law (including any liability that cannot be excluded under the Consumer Protection Act 1999).
6.3 Visitor's responsibility
The accompanying adult is responsible for assessing whether a particular zone or activity is appropriate for the child they are supervising, given the child's age, height, ability and any health conditions. UFOREA does not accept liability for injury or loss arising from a failure to supervise, a failure to follow posted signage, or use of equipment in a manner other than as intended.
6.4 Insurance
UFOREA maintains public liability insurance appropriate for an indoor children's play facility of this scale. Details may be made available on reasonable request for the purposes of an insurance claim or birthday-party event.
6.5 Personal belongings
UFOREA is not responsible for the loss, theft or damage of personal belongings brought onto the premises. Please use the lockers provided and do not leave valuables unattended.
7. Lost property
Items left behind are collected by our staff at the end of each operating day and held in our lost-property cabinet at the front desk. We will hold lost items for a minimum of 14 days.
To enquire about lost property, please contact us by WhatsApp or email with a description of the item and the approximate date and time of your visit. Items not claimed within 14 days may be disposed of, except for high-value items which we will hold for longer where reasonable.
Lost children — please see Section 6 of our Health & Safety Policy for our lost-child reunification protocol.
8. Right of refusal
UFOREA reserves the right, at its sole and reasonable discretion, to refuse entry to or remove from the premises any person who, in the judgement of our staff:
- Is unable or unwilling to supervise an accompanying child in line with these terms.
- Appears to be unwell with a contagious illness.
- Is under the influence of alcohol or illegal substances.
- Behaves in a manner that is unsafe, abusive, threatening, or discriminatory toward staff or other visitors.
- Persistently breaches the behaviour expectations in Section 4 after being asked to stop.
Where entry is refused on these grounds, or where a visitor is removed for a serious breach, no refund will be issued. Where entry is refused for reasons not the fault of the visitor (for example, operational capacity, see Section 9), we will offer a full refund or a free reschedule.
9. Force majeure and unscheduled closures
UFOREA may need to close, partially close, or restrict access to particular zones for reasons outside our control, including but not limited to:
- Severe weather events, flooding, or storms
- Power outages or failure of essential utilities
- Public health emergencies and government directives
- Fire, security incidents, or evacuation orders
- Industrial action, strikes, or transport disruption affecting our staff
- Any other event beyond our reasonable control
Where a closure prevents your visit, please notify us in writing (WhatsApp or email) with proof of your booking, and we will arrange the appropriate remedy with you based on your notice and the circumstances of the closure. We will not be liable for additional costs such as transport, time off work, or party-supplier deposits incurred in connection with a closure.
Operational notices about unscheduled closures are posted on uforea.net, our Instagram (@uforea.net.my), and our Facebook page.
10. Governing law and disputes
These Terms of Visit are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes arising under or in connection with them are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Penang, Malaysia.
We hope it never comes to that. If you have a concern, please raise it with us first — we will always try to find a fair resolution. Our complaints process is described on our Health & Safety page.
