what's inside

Dress up. Light up. Take the photo.

Step through the archway and the whole corner glows soft gold. Makeover Castle is UFOREA’s fairy-tale dress-up world, where children become whoever they want to be — a princess in a sweeping gown, a superhero mid-rescue, or one of the dress-up roles in uniform. There are dozens of costumes across princess, superhero and uniform characters, colour-grouped so even a shy first-timer can spot something they love in seconds, and there are no per-costume charges: kids change as many times as they like, all visit long.

Beyond the gowns and capes is a tray of finishing touches at every station — tiaras, earrings, necklaces, hairbands, fairy wings, animal tails and police hats. Nothing breakable, nothing fragile, and the costumes are steamed daily. Ring-lit mirrors and a velvet-trim throne backdrop turn the dressing-up into a photo session, and most families leave with the picture of the day.

💡 Best for: Children who love storytelling, role-playing, and pretending to be someone new, though toddlers love it with a parent’s help and older children happily direct the whole story. This is the zone where imaginative play, confidence and a little stage-craft all happen at once — your child won’t notice they’re building communication and self-expression, because to them it’s simply being someone new for an afternoon.

a little advice

Tips from parents who've been.

one

Come early for the full wardrobe.

The castle fills up after lunch — arriving near opening (11am on weekdays, 10am on weekends, public and school holidays) means the best pick of costumes and the mirror stations to yourselves.

two

Wear a plain top underneath.

Costumes layer over normal clothes, and a plain white or cream tee photographs far better under lace and capes than a busy graphic shirt.

three

Save the throne photo for last.

Children give their best smiles once they've played and warmed up — leave the formal portrait until they're comfortable and fully in character.

gentle answers

Makeover Castle questions.

Are there costumes for boys too, and what's available?
Yes — alongside princess gowns there are superhero capes, dress-up uniforms and other character outfits, plus accessories like police hats, fairy wings, animal tails, tiaras and necklaces. The wardrobe is built so every child finds a character they love.
Is the Makeover Castle charged per costume?
No. Once inside the playground, children can enjoy unlimited costume changes at our Makeover Castle during their visit, allowing them to transform into different characters as many times as they like.
What ages is Makeover Castle best for, and can we take photos?
It's happiest for ages 3–9, though toddlers love dressing up with a parent's help and older children enjoy directing the story and posing on the throne. The mirror stations are ring-lit and the throne backdrop is built for portraits, so bring your phone or camera.
