What time should we visit?
UFOREA is open every single day, so there’s no bad day to come — but the feel of the floor changes from morning calm to weekend buzz. Here’s how to pick your moment.
Opening hours
11–10 · 10–10Weekdays 11am–10pm; weekends, PH & school holidays 10am–10pm, all year. Last entry is 21:00, which still leaves a full hour of play before close.
Quietest times
Weekday mornings are calmest. The Quiet Toddler Hour runs Monday to Thursday, 10:00–12:00 — softer sound and gentler crowds for little ones.
Weekday vs weekend
Weekdays are quieter and cheaper (from RM 18 adult). Weekends, public holidays and school breaks are livelier — arrive at opening or after 4pm to dodge the midday peak.
A typical visit lasts two to four hours, but there are no time slots — one ticket buys unlimited play right up to closing. See current prices on the tickets page.
How do we get to UFOREA?
We’re on the upper floor of the Island 88 development in Tanjong Tokong, on Penang island — an easy hop from George Town, the northern beaches and across the bridge.
By car. Head for Island 88, 118 Jalan Tanjong Tokong. There’s parking on site at the development — park, then take the lift up to UFOREA on the upper floor.
By Grab or taxi. Set your destination to Island 88, Tanjong Tokong (UFOREA is inside, upstairs). Drop-off is right at the building entrance, which is handy on a rainy day or with a sleepy toddler in tow.

Amuse Café by UFOREA sits beside the entrance — coffee, beverages, desserts, ice cream and light snacks (no full main meals; mall restaurants are 5–10 min walk); VIP members enjoy 30% off café. The Cozy Nook parents’ lounge has soft bean bags, charging ports and clear sightlines.

How should we plan the day?
There’s no “right” order — but little ones do best with a calm-to-active-to-calm arc. Here’s a relaxed flow that keeps energy high without the meltdown finish.
Settle, sock up, start soft
Pop bags in a locker, pull on grip socks, and let little ones warm up somewhere gentle — the make-believe play of Mini Town or dressing up at Makeover Castle is a calm, confident start.
Burn the big energy
Now they’re warmed up, point them at the active zones — climb and slide through Adventure Trails, leap into the Galaxy Zone, and splash at Discovery Cove. This is the loud, joyful, sleep-well-tonight stretch.
Refuel — on the same wristband
Grab a bite at Amuse Café by the entrance, or use same-day re-entry to head downstairs at Island 88 for a proper meal and come back on the same stamped wristband.
Dial it back to dreamy

Calm corners and gentle mornings
Access is step-free throughout, so prams and wheelchairs move freely between every zone. The Cozy Nook gives a softer, quieter space to regroup whenever the floor feels like a lot.
